NOTE RE: SWIM BAGS
Please check swim bags to be sure swimmers have not inadvertently picked-up anything that does not belong to them. If your swimmer does have someone else’s item and it has a name on it (embroidered apparel or labeled paddles for example), please have them give it directly to a coach the next time they’re at practice. Items without names should be placed in the lost and found tubs in the equipment room behind the blocks at CB South which is where swimmers should look for items they have lost.
Please join us in congratulating Coach Jessica who is expecting her second child. Also, please understd if she sometimes needs to sit while coaching over the next several months.

Girls swim at CCA, Plymouth Whitemarsh High School, 201 East Germantown Pike, Plymouth Meeting, PA – Arrive 10:45 AM, Warm-up 11:00 AM, Start 11:30 AM.
Please remember Meet Check in/out by Wednesday 11/13, by 9:00 PM for this meet. Please log in to your Portal and indicate your availability for this dual meet. Thank you to all who have already done so.
Volunteer assignments for this dual meet will be in the Portal as early as Thursday 11/14.

The CBST Holiday Classic has been added to the portal. This is our team fundraiser and we ask that all of our swimmers 14 and under participate in this fun filled meet! Invitational Registration Procedures
– If your swimmer(s) will attend, log in to your swimmer’s portal BEFORE THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE DATE and register per the swimmer’s portal instructions.
– BY THE END OF PRACTICE ON THE DEADLINE DATE, place your PAYMENT in one of the SAL drop boxes. These boxes are located at CB East and CB South in the stair well leading up to the pool balcony at each pool. (Note this is NOT the CB Aquatics drop box in the hallway at CB South.) Payments must be in an envelope and labeled indicating the meet for which payment is being made and the swimmer’s name. Note that payment by check is recommended and strongly preferred and that your cancelled check serves as your receipt. Checks should be made out to “Central Bucks Swimmers Association.”
– LATE REGISTRATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND NO SWIMMER WILL BE REGISTERED WITHOUT PAYMENT. Additionally, be aware that online registration constitutes a promise to pay the related meet fees whether your swimmer(s) ultimately attend the meet or not.
It is assumed that any swimmer who signs up for an invitational meet can provide a volunteer. If you cannot volunteer at an invitational for which your swimmer is registered, contact the invitational coordinator ASAP.
If you have a HS Swimmer or a HS sibling of a swimmer, please have them consider volunteering at this meet. We will be happy to provide a Community Service letter to them at the completion of their service.

A NOTE FROM OUR VOLUNTEER COORDINATORS
CBST Reminders for Volunteers:
Everyone who has a swimmer competing at any meet is expected to have a volunteer.
Volunteer assignments are based on preference and availability. Unless you indicate in the comments box of your portal by 9pm Wednesday night, you may be assigned a volunteer position.
If you are unable to volunteer at the upcoming meet, kindly indicate this in the comments box where you check in your swimmer for the meet. Examples: “I am unable to volunteer.”, “I will have my young children with me, prefer snack bar only.” Or “I will be at the boys meet and cannot volunteer at the girls meet.”
It is much easier for the parent reps to assign volunteer positions if they know ahead of time who is or is not available, rather than having to make late changes.
Volunteer positions are posted in the portal by Thursday morning. Please log into the portal to see if you have been assigned a volunteer position. (SAL tab/ Volunteer Setup/Assignments link.)
If you have been assigned a position, kindly select “ACCEPT” next to your name. This helps the reps know that you are aware of your position and alleviates any hiccups on meet day.
Thank you all for your understanding. We really do need “all hands on deck” to have the meets run smoothly and to make this a positive experience for all the swimmers.
